FergusonMarilyn Ferguson was born in Grand Junction, CO in 1938. She first attended the University of Colorado and then later attended the University of California, Los Angeles. Marilyn wrote “The Brain Revolution” in 1973 but is perhaps best known as the author of “The Aquarian Conspiracy.” In it, she hails new developments in science and society as evidence of a new cultural paradigm emphasizing greater realization of the individuals physical, mental, and spiritual potential.

The Aquarian Conspiracy was hailed by many commentators as a keynote speech for the Eighties. The Aquarian Conspiracy went on to win the Book-of-the-Year Award from Renewal in 1980.

Marilyn is a member of the Association of Humanistic Psychology, the Association of Transpersonal Psychology, and is a member of the board of directors of the Institute of Noetic Science.

Marilyn is the editor and publisher of the “Brain/Mind Bulletin” since 1975 and the Leading Edge Bulletin since 1980.
